Gavin Lake 2015 Camp Donations

2015 Donations – This list shows last year’s donations and is a fairly good reflection of what we hope to receive in 2016. This list also reflects the widespread community support that the Gavin Lake Forest Education Society enjoys.

Funding specifically for grade 6 school program:

-Cariboo Woodlot Education Society -$20,000

-Tolko Industries -$4000
-Ainsworth Lumber -$1000

Infrastructure:
-Moss Rock Park Foundation – $10,000
-Tolko Mills –in-kind lumber – $500
-West Fraser Mills – lumber and supplies – $600
-Williams Lake Rotary Club – $7215
– Williams Lake Daybreak Rotary -$900
-Cariboo Regional District Grant in Aid – $4000

  1. We are coming to the camp in July for a family reunion, can you tell me what are the boat restrictions are on the lake. Would like to bring my boat and motor if we can use it . Thanks. Florence

    • Hi Florence. There are no real restrictions in effect but it is a small lake with not much room for tubing etc.
      I think 9-15 hp is plenty of this lake for fishing.
